Using the child safety device

The child safety device prevents unin-

tentional use of the appliance.

Switching on the child safety device

Deactivating the child safety device

Overriding the child safety device

The child safety device can be released

in this way for a single cooking session;

it remains activated afterwards.

1. Switch on appliance. (Do not set a

heat setting.)

2. Touch for 4 seconds l

Appliance switches off. The child safety device is switched on

1. Switch appliance on l

2. To uch for 4 seconds 0 lights up

Appliance switches off. The child safety device is switched off.

Step Control panel Display/Signal

1. Switch on the appliance l

2. Touch and at the same time ¾ / acoustic signal

Until the appliance is next switched off, it can be used as normal.
