ELECTRIC OVEN

The oven

The oven has removable side racks for the

shelves with four rungs on each side and the fan

with ring element on the back wall of the oven.

The functions of the oven

For all oven functions, the indicator light comes on

when the oven is heating and goes out when the

set temperature is reached (goes on and off as the

thermostat switches in and out). To choose an

oven function, turn the function control clockwise to

the symbol for the desired function (see below).

0 - Oven switched off

Oven light

Conventional cooking – used the top and

bottom element; this function will enable you to

use your favourite recipes without having to

adapt the temperatures. It is necessary to pre-

heat the oven in this instance.

Bottom oven element - enables you to

finish off dishes on the bottom onl y.

Fan cooking – Thermaflow cooking; this

system will allow you to roast and bake at the

same time with very little flavour transference,

and on any shelf.

Grill - Using the grilling and top element

simultaneously

Turbo grill - Using the grill and top element

simultaneously and the fan out of time.

Pizza function - Using fan-assisted oven

(fan plus an element around the fan) and bottom

heating element.

Defrost – (NB: This is NOT a cooking

position). This position is intended to assist in

thawing of frozen foods.

Caution

Do not place pans, dripping pans, biscuits pans

or aluminium foil directly on the base of the oven.

This could cause a heat build-up which could

affect the performance of the oven and damage

the oven enamel.
